The History of  Robert Wesley Mckoy His parents were Peter and Charity Mckoy  and they lived in Sampson County near Tomahawk North Carolina Indian Country.

Wesley had 5 sisters and one brother. He is Herbert Taft's father Bruce (Baby  Boy)and Jimmy's (oldest boy)grandfather.  He was married twice first marriage  was to Amanda Cromartie she was a Cherokee Indian to their Union 10 little  Indians were born. Lillie, Arthur, George, Jimmy, Vandalia, Norman, Anna,  David, Florence, and Golden.  Amanda died in 1901.

The second marriage was to Fannie Henry to this Union nine children  were born.  John Wesley, Herbert Taft, Theodore, Alpheus, Vertis, William Lee  Josheph, Benjamin, and one girl Dollie who died at a early age. Fannie Died in  1941.

After the passing of both wives he was cared for by his children  until his death.  Wesley Mckoy had a total of 18 children, over 85  grandchildren, Many greatgrandchildren.  His glorious family now extends seven  generations 129 years after his birth.

We have kin folk  all over the place Ohio, New Jersey, New York, Washington  DC, Fayeville Raleigh NC The McCoy name is spelled two different ways and from  the same klan its known whites and blacks are related in the McCoy/Mckoy klan  we are trying to contact all who are kin so we can communicate more often

The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
